History
In 1979, GordonDerr LLP (originally Buck & Gordon) was founded on the principle that attorneys consumed by work, at the expense of outside interests, was bad business-for both clients and employees. Determination to build a new kind of law firm, the success of which was predicated on a balanced lifestyle rather than on the industry-standard billable hours requirement, resulted in an exceptionally unique and well-respected law firm, which today is considered one of the preeminent law firms in the Pacific Northwest.
The history of the firm is inherent in the values of GordonDerr. An overarching sense of balance between one's personal and professional lives is paramount to the success and satisfaction for both employees and clients of the firm. Thirty years later, these values still permeate nearly every decision made at GordonDerr - one of the most well-regarded and knowledgeable law firms of its kind.
