Katie has extensive experience in a variety of planning areas, including project management, preparation and review of development proposals, historic preservation planning, affordable housing development, and subarea and neighborhood planning. She has worked in both the public and private sector, giving her a unique perspective and understanding of how both realms operate. Representative Experience
- Provides planning, environmental, and permitting services for the Port of Centralia and Kittitas County.
- Drafted sections of the Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed 860-unit residential development for the City of Tacoma.
- Managed the update to Juneau, Alaska's Historic District design guidelines.
- Managed public outreach and plan creation for the White Center Community Development Association's White Center neighborhood plan.
