While at a previous firm, one of GordonDerr's current partners represented the owner and developer of the Chehalis Generation Facility, a 530 MW gas-fired electric power generation facility located in Chehalis, WA. Over a several year time span, this work focused on development of an innovative water supply strategy, wastewater treatment, and the relationship with the City of Chehalis. The work led to the successful effort to satisfy the water quantity mitigation conditions required by the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC) by acquiring and transferring water rights to stream flow purposes.
