GordonDerr partner Molly Lawrence will be speaking at the 2010 Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys (WSAMA) Spring Conference in Vancouver, Washington May 5-7,2010.
Molly will be speaking at the session entitled, "FEMA Maps, the Floodplain Biological Opinion and Status of FEMA Model Ordinance."
The Conference will cover most of the principal areas of municipal law - there will be updates on criminal law and personnel law and a review of significant legislative enactments from the 2010 session that affect local governments. The program will also cover topics related to some of the legal issues raised by the current economy and public records (particularly issues raised by use of social media).
